Accompanying Teachers: Empowering Learning in Changing Contexts

The aim of the workshop is to provide targeted support on school management issues in diverse contexts, as well as to propose technical guidelines for the identification and monitoring of interactions within the classroom regarding the social-emotional, organizational and promoting learning dimensions.

Best practices for Teacher

This section presents the document "Best practices for Teacher Accompaniment ", which highlights the learning of the Workshop. Eight teachers and principals participating in the Workshop in its 2020 and 2021 versions were invited to share their experiences related to good professional practices that they have implemented in their respective institutions, in order to make them visible and inspire other educational communities, promoting improvements based on the three Focus of the pedagogical task: Socio-emotional, Organization for Teaching, and Promotion of Learning.

Videos

The following videos relate to the areas of focus that constitute classroom work (social-emotional, teaching organization, promoting learning). Each one outlines guidelines to help distinguish between and recognize the different activities that occur in the classroom, in order to encourage the creation of a common understanding with a view to implementing educational improvement initiatives in the classroom.

Complementary material

This section contains worksheets that help to organize the topics covered in the workshop and which are provided as complementary material to the synchronous sessions. The material is divided into four areas: Guidelines for Learning in Times of Crisis; Social-emotional Focus; Teaching Organization Focus; and Promoting Learning Focus.
